Founded in 1992, Trinity Resources & Energy Ltd. (TRE) has been actively involved in developing industrial mineral and dimension stone products in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. As part of the Hurley Group of Companies, TRE currently operates the Manuels Pyrophyllite mine producing products under the ALTIFIL brand name.

As one of the brightest dry ground Pyrophyllite products on the world market, ALTIFIL offers a dry brightness index of 89% and 92% after firing. Chemically similar to Clay, it is a hydrous aluminum silicate and has the appearance and physical characteristics of a talc.
